Zaycon Foods – Super Fresh Meats And Produce!! Check This Out!!

How does Zaycon Foods manage to provide such high quality super fresh meat and produce to its customers at such low prices? The answer is strength in numbers. And not our numbers, yours!

Zaycon Foods can sell its products at bulk rate prices to individual consumers and families because our unique sales event business model brings lots of people together, adding all their purchasing power into a combined bulk food purchase. And when you buy as part of a group that’s committing to such a large purchase, the power is in the hands of the purchaser! It’s the ultimate group buy in terms of both price and consumer empowerment.

You can pre-select exactly what you want to order from a given Zaycon sales event – sometimes you may want to stock up on our amazing meaty back ribs and sometimes it might be all about the Zaycon bacon – and then, on the day of the sales event, you and a whole big bunch of your neighbors will find yourselves in a nearby parking lot watching as an entire tractor trailer’s worth of high quality natural food is unloaded into all of your cars! You will be amazed at how quickly one of our refrigerated trucks goes from being filled with natural, fresh chicken or hundreds of gallons of grade A non-homogenized milk to being empty and back on its way to the farm!

A Zaycon Foods truck sales event often lasts less time than you would spend on a trip to the grocery store, yet you will leave with a whole lot more food than you’d get at the market, and for much better prices, too!

When you use the Zaycon Foods sales event as your preferred place to purchase meats, milk, and any of our other fine products, you get advantages even beyond the bulk pricing that comes with our special sales model. You also have the peace of mind of knowing exactly what you’re going to get! A trip to the grocery store can involve wasted time wandering around looking for various foods spread out across the store; at a Zaycon Foods parking lot meat truck delivery (or milk or berries or fish delivery, too!) you have pre-ordered your foods, so all you have to do is show up and wait for our friendly staffers and volunteers to load up your car.

Also, unlike in the grocery store, the prices you will pay for a Zaycon Foods product are locked in on our website, so you will know how much you are going to spend before you have committed to a purchase.

At a supermarket, you might pay one price for chicken on one day, and then a higher price on another day. With Zaycon, you decide that you want to order a case of our fresh boneless skinless chicken breasts, you check the price and then you commit to it, knowing that from that moment on, we are committed to getting you your fresh, natural food!

Back At The Helm After A Hiatus!!

I’ve been on a hiatus for a couple of months to devote the time needed in my other businesses.  Just trying to get back in the swing of things.  It’s been a hectic holiday season for me – I just don’t know where the time went.

                               ROCKY – 10/08/97 – 12/06/12

I had lost my miniature poodle Rocky who was 15   years old, it was extremely difficult saying good-bye to him as he was my constant companion both day & night.   I missed him so much that we decided the best thing to do was to get another Miniature Poodle.  I picked him up a couple of weeks ago – his name is Max and he is chocolate colored and has the nicest eyes I have ever seen on a dog.  He is a typical poodle puppy – ever so playful and ever so smart.   He has already attached to me and I can’t leave the house without him as he struts right into his crate waiting for me to take him.

                                           MAX – 11/16/12

‘Tis The Season – Satisfy All Those On Your List

It’s hard to believe we are in October already – the holidays will be here before we know it.   I have always tried to get each person on my list, the item(s) that are most important to them.  Lately though it’s been difficult finding just the right gifts for everyone, that I started to slack off and settled on gift cards.  In retrospect, although gifts cards are a great item – I just got lazy!!  The main reason I would purchase gift cards was my youngest daughter whose tastes in clothing differed from mine.  Anytime I would find a nice outfit for her she would not like it and then return it for something else.

This season – I vow to find everyone the gifts that they want, they want GAMES!!!  I plan to purchase them from a reliable retailer – one who will be there tomorrow and  have the products they want right now – my son wants Borderlands 2  and my oldest daughter wants Resident Evil 6 .  My middle daughter has requested Halo 4  and of course she also would like Call Of Duty  It was only a few years ago I was hesitant in purchasing anything online as I did have some pretty bad experiences and there were some items I just never received after paying for them.   Those fears are long gone and I have as much faith and trust in online retailers as I do in the mortar and brick stores.

Grainger Games is one of the reliable companies you can count on!  They have the great games you want at prices that are easy on the budget!  Are you bored with a game trade it in or they’ll buy it.   Need a new console – they have it!  Can’t afford to purchase new?  They may have it pre-owned!  How can you go wrong?  You can’t!!   This is what I want my dear children – Bioshock– for my birthday, granted it will be a little late – just hurry and order it for me!

The Holidays Are Just Around The Corner – And So Is Winter!!

I cringe at the thought of the holidays arriving – I am still living in Springtime (my favorite season!)  The amount of holiday greeting cards I write out by hand are somewhere around a thousand.  I usually start out writing in October this way I can avoid severe writers cramp!!  Personalizing the cards by handwriting shows that you care, I never use printed cards – it’s just so impersonal.  We all have to tolerate winter and driving every night can be frustrating especially when the snow arrives.  The snow just slows me down and the overnight driving is more challenging as the plow trucks usually don’t go out until around 5am.  If the storm is especially bad, they will go out earlier.

Since the kids are grown we now use an artificial tree – the kids still want us to buy a real tree.  The artificial is so much easier and much less of a mess afterwards.  I explained to my daughter that I am saving trees and helping the environment at the same time!  Her response was “yeah right”!  I still use the artificial tree!!

As time goes by you kind of lose the thrill of the holiday season, I enjoyed it tremendously when my children were young.  Now that I have grandchildren I really enjoy the holidays again.  Just watching their eyes light up just brings me so much joy and brings me back to the good old days.   My youngest grandson helped me wrap gifts last year and he kept trying to unwrap them afterwards.  He kept telling me over and over again that “he needs presents”.  I explained to him that you don’t need presents – you want presents!!  It was so much fun watching him and listening to him rationalize how “he needs” those gifts!  This is just one of those special precious moments in life – it is just so good to be alive!!

I Want To Go CRAZY When I Shop – Especially For Footwear!!!

Well, I usually hunt for bargains in most stores.  There are times when I just feel the need to go absolutely crazy and buy everything I’ve always wanted!  Unfortunately reality sets in when I open my pocketbook and look at my cash or my cards, dashing my crazy thoughts!!  One area I don’t scrimp on is my footwear, as I have diabetes and keeping my feet in tiptop shape is a necessity.

I would have loved to have a small portion of Imelda Marcos’ shoe collection as my collection is pretty paltry, maybe 12 – 13 pairs!  For the most part, I get the most wear out of my shoes by keeping certain pairs for certain seasons & events.  My work shoes are always sneakers in the summer / fall season, boots or high tops in the winter / spring seasons.   Sneakers usually wear out in a short period of time as I am always in & out of the car and walking quite a bit.  I wear sandals for casual, dress and of course for the beach.   Usually I buy good quality footwear that fit comfortably and are durable.

Now as far as my husband is concerned he usually wears casual shoes most days, but he also keeps some formal wear shoes on hand for those “special” occasions.  He needs to be careful and wear comfortable shoes as he is also a diabetic.  My son really likes his Nike’s but for his job he is required to wear work boots and he makes a wise choice  by wearing Caterpillar brand.  My Grandson is playing football this year and he needed football boots and what a great deal my daughter found for him.  He is so excited and wants to sleep in his uniform!!  I can’t help but remember when my daughter was younger and she wanted to sleep in her track outfit!  Her son takes so much after her, it’s amazing.   I have to say all in all that my children have good taste in shoes, of course they take after their parents!!

We Will NEVER Forget 9/11/2001

In Remembrance Of All The 9/11 Victims And Their Families

You Are All In Our Thoughts And Our Prayers

Do You Remember……….The Times Of Your Life???

Do you remember the jingle and the song made famous by Paul Anka?  This was part of a great ad campaign used by Kodak in the mid 1970’s and Anka then released it as a full song in 1976 – it hit #7 on the charts!!!  Another Kodak product Kodachrome (circa 1935 – 2009) was also the subject of a Paul Simon song and a park was named for it also – Kodachrome Basin in Utah!  Processing of the film ended in 2010 – what an era and what a long run!

In today’s world digital is the new era.  Gone are the Kodak Brownie cameras ( I wish I still had mine ) gone also are the Poloroid Instamatic’s of yesteryear – now a new digital instaprint version is out there.  Our cell phones also offer advance digital photography.  It is so easy and less expensive to take and download your pictures.  There are so many photo editing programs out there, it’s amazing what we can do today!

The digital camcorders of today are so easy to use and lightweight, I don’t miss my old camcorder that used video cassette tapes!  I wish I had today’s technology when my children were younger.  Even the available selection of accessories are terrific!   My husband and I were playing some of the old tapes we have of our children and many of them have degraded.   My son is working on transferring them over to DVD’s hopefully he will be able to save what is left of them.

I’ve learned a good lesson and I realize just how important it is to preserve our memories.   It’s great that we have the tools available to us to do so.
